New Ventures China connects entrepreneurs with investors to promote the growth of social enterprises. We identify outstanding SMEs and help them access capital to grow their businesses. We also identify potential investors for social enterprises in China. NVC accomplishes this by:

• Enterprise selection: A selection committee comprised of WRI experts, investors, and business managers screen businesses according to their financial outlook, innovation, market potential, and social and environmental benefits. The ones with the most potential are selected to be grown and cultivated.
• Mentoring: Through expert financial, technical, and management consulting services, NVC enterprises are able to improve their business models and improve raise their and fundraising capabilities.
• Fundraising: NVC connects entrepreneurs in our portfolio to potential investors and partners to help them secure financing.
• Network: NVC enterprises become members of the “NVC Entrepreneurs Network,” a platform that provides peer-to-peer exchanges, business networking opportunities, and information on resources and workshops.
